Matching Funds Program

ACAT invites your Affiliated State Organization (ASO) to partner with us to help practitioners earn ACAT credentials. This program will cover one-half the cost of administering the training course (up to a maximum of $500 per day for two days). As a participant in the Matching Funds Program, you can:

Provide a value-added service to your individual members and to local chapters. Receive promotion and publicity for your organization, with ACAT picking up part of the program fee. Receive $50 for each additional person over 20 course participants who sit for the examination given in the same cycle as your course.

ASO courses should address the topics in the ABA examination blueprint

Serving Aging America (Elder Care Specialist credential)

ASOs offering courses for the Elder Care Credential should follow its examination blueprint.

Courses may cover any of the three levels and coursework may be studied in any order. Candidates must have 12 CPE hours for each level to qualify to take the ECS examination.
