Maintaining Your ACAT
Credential
There are three steps to maintaining any ACAT credential.
Abide
by the Code of Ethics.
Pay
the appropriate annual renewal fee by June 30 each year. The current renewal
rate is $55 for one credential, $88 for two credentials, $110 for three
credentials, $135 for four credentials..
Earn
and report your required Continued Professional Education (CPE). Our profession is dynamic, with rules and concepts that change quickly. We
believe professional competence can only be maintained through continuing
education. CPE hours are reported to ACAT every three years. The current cycle
runs July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2005. Your CPE report is due to ACAT on June
30, 2005.

Click
here for a CPE diary which you can print and use to track your CPE over the
current cycle. In general, ACAT only asks you to affirm on your renewal form
that you have met the requirements. We suggest you keep documentation of
your CPE in case you are selected for one of ACAT's CPE audits.
