ACAT Program in Colleges and Universities ACAT has an extensive program in working with colleges to integrate the ABA examination into the curriculum. ACAT provides a turnkey program for offering the Capstone course in your Accounting Department. Whether college or technical institute, the Capstone course can serve as the culmination of your students' studies in accounting. It also prepares your students to take the ABA examination. The examination serves as an external validation of your students' education in accounting and taxation. Your students graduate not only with a degree but with a nationally recognized credential in accounting and taxation. They become Accredited Business Accountants (ABA). The ABA exam is put together by a committee of subject matter experts with the aid of a psychometrician. Periodically, a job practice analysis is done to ensure that the test questions cover the tasks that accountants perform. Colleges Who Use the Capstone Course Say: Judy Getchell, Beal College,
