CREDENTIAL HOLDERS ONLY

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
One of the requirements to maintain your accreditation is meeting the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hourly requirements. The accounting and taxation profession changes quickly and, without continual updating, you can get left behind. ACAT believes professional competence can only be maintained through continuing education.

Every three years you must report your CPE hours to ACAT. The current three-year cycle ends June 30, 2008. At that time, ACAT will request a report on the CPE you have earned when you renew your credentials.

REINSTATEMENT
If you let your accreditation lapse, you can apply for reinstatement. Click here for information and forms.

PROFESSIONAL DIRECTORY
ACAT maintains a professional directory of all credential holders. The Directory is promoted to consumers as an excellent way to find an accredited accounting or tax professional. The directory lists your name, credentials held, address, phone number, fax number and email address.

You can view and maintain your own record at any time.

Your username is your last name; your password is your ACAT certificate number.
