What is accreditation?

Accreditation is the evaluation of your mastery of a standardized body of professional knowledge and practice by an independent accrediting body. Seeking voluntary accreditation denotes your pride and confidence in your ability to perform your professional duties, your willingness to go the extra mile. Accreditation also requires continued growth in your profession. You may take the accrediting examination or study course only once, but you must renew your accreditation continuously through seminars and other forms of professional education.

Why pursue accreditation in accountancy and taxation?

In today's competitive and demanding business climate, both current and prospective clients seek assurance that the professionals they select are competent specialists prepared to meet the complex challenges of accounting and taxation. Businesses, government and the public rely on the public accounting profession for the complete and accurate presentation of financial information, schedules, and reports, as well as judgment in business matters. As an established practitioner, how will accreditation help me?
