Inactive Status

If you stop working in the field of accounting or taxation, you can maintain your credential by becoming an Inactive member. Inactive members pay $30 a year and do not have to earn CPEs. You must submit a written request to become Inactive. If you want to move back from Inactive to Active status, you have five years from the date you become Inactive to do so.
